35^th Founding Anniversary Day Celebration

Thank Giving Mass and Motorcade and Christmas Party

December 16, 2016

 

Motivated with the theme, “Thirty five years of service with commitment and integrity”, indeed it was a long and glorious years of service with commitment and integrity shared among the Metro Midsayap Water District employees, Management, and Board of Directors. The agency is truly blessed for serving its valued concessionaires in the Municipalities of Libungan and Midsayap since then and now.

 

A thanksgiving mass was celebrated in the MMWD compound at 8:00 o’clock in the morning which was presided by Rev. Fr. Joel Canonizado, OMI. The Eucharistic Celebration was followed by a Motorcade participated by the MMWD personnel and SMA Drum and Lyre.

 

In the afternoon, everyone prepared themselves for the Christmas party held at Goldilite Function Hall. The gathering started at 5:30 pm with free picture taking in the photo booth. The program began at 6:00 pm with an opening prayer and the national anthem. Inspirational message was delivered by Mr. Godofredo R. Rapacon, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

 

The dinner was served at 6:30 pm and afterwards proceeded with the group presentations. The MMWD employees were divided into 7 groups with different genre of talents. Everyone enjoyed each presentation. The juries composed of the General Manager and the Board of Directors chose the best performer.

 

The group led by Engr. Joey C. Tonzo with the Dancing and Acting talents entitled “Pasayawa ko Day” gained much applause from the audience and the juries and declared their group as the winner. The awarding for the Best Employees of the Year and Special Awards were also recognized and the awardees received their plaques, certificates, and grocery items.

 

Another milestone for the following employees who rendered their unselfish service to the agency as they reached their 10 years of service and above in the government service. They were also given the loyalty memorabilia, to wit:

Finally, the Christmas Party would not be complete without the exchange of gifts and gift giving. The night was full of enjoyment and everyone celebrated the 35^th Founding Anniversary of Metro Midsayap Water District successfully.
